Was hoping for a few pointers. Firstly I am hoping to run a radial master cylinder as a front brake upgrade. Can anyone tell me if you can do this and still have a functioning brake light switch? Alternatively, if this isn't possible I was hoping someone may be able to suggest a good supplier of master cylinder rebuild kits. I've had a look on the net and I'm not finding many options.
If you want to retain your current brake lines, I can do you a stainless radial M/C adaptor, that screws into the master cylinder, and converts the outlet back to a conventional direction. The adaptor can be bolter to the master cylinder with an hydraulic brake light switch.
Of course, depending on the master cylinder you choose though, some will come with a switch. I use a CBR1000RR master cylinder, and that has a standard Honda switch under it, just like the NSRs. _________________ Andy.

Nothing wrong with a shameless plug Andy. That said, I think I might go the CBR1000 route. Needless to say I have my eye on both the Radial Master Cylinder Adapter and HRC Double Length Bleed Bolt in the Marketplace. I see the bleed bolt is listed to fit HRC / OEM / HEL lines. I have an AC Performance brake line kit that came with the bike. Are you aware if the bleed bolt will work with these lines?
The make of lines doesn't matter, Jim, as it's the thread on the bleed bolt/master cylinder that counts. It replaces the standard "blind" double-length banjo bolt at the master cylinder.
It will however NOT fit master cylinders such as Brembo or Accossato, that use an M10x1.00 thread. _________________ Andy.
