APT Smartcarb?

Has anyone had experience with the APT smartcarb? It's supposed to be altitude compensating, and also able to change mixture setup without taking it apart.

A bunch of people have them on dirt bikes and have been getting great results with it. I was wondering how difficult it would be to get this working on our Honda machines? They've run vehicles up Pike's Peak in Colorado with it, and it seems to work ridiculously well. They are not very easy to get however, as APT's production time has been a big hangup for a lot of people.

As you probably already know, Lectron do a similar thing.
This link explains it a bit:

I too would be extremely interested to hear from anyone who has tried either APT or Lectron carbs with the ability to auto-compensate over a range of air densities (temperatures and pressures/altitudes) to keep the fuel/air ratio effectively constant.
Gotta love that transparent float bowl.

I run a lectron on my yz125. It works great and had obvious differences over a well jetted tmxx. You can get lectron to make you a set of downdraft carbs in your size preference. You can also find a couple of companies online that have cable operated tps.

Obviously there is a benefit to using either vs the stock 32mm on the nsr but I don't feel you'd get the full effect like you would on a dirt bike.
