Hi guys anyone know why the previous owner would loop the oil sensor wire like this?

Yes the oil light does stay on with the warning on the screen..I want to undo it and plug it back in on the sensor..Wanted to get some feedbacks first. Thank's for any help you can provide..

At some point your bike may have had an HRC derestricted card on it which requires a wire splice. See my post below, you might want to check the side stand and neutral light connections as well for additional wires.
