Performance Bikes track day...

The NSR500s were invited to Rockingham today by Performance Bikes magazine...

TT legend, and the King of the Mountain, John McGuinness came up to find us...

...and at the end of the day, despite his injured wrist, we "persuaded" him to do a few laps! Awesome!

And yes, the rumours are true... after almost 3 years, I finally buckled under the pressue, and even put a couple of sessions in myself! Shocked

Feeling very honoured to be one of the select few to ever grace the seat of an NSR500 Grands Prix bike! Very Happy

When it finally sinks in tomorrow sometime, I'll get round to saying thank you to Steve for the amazing opportunity. Embarassed

Would have been a golden opportunity to take some photos of him riding his old RS250 as well as the 500.

While I may do another track day sometime, I can assure you one thing Les, my MC21 will never see the track.

I expect to be in the market for an NX5 next year though. Smile
