How ironic that back in the eighties the fashions, haircuts and much of the "popular" music were shamefully lame. But the bikes were hot. And years from now today's transformer type bikes (insect bikes) will be looked back upon as a big mistake.
Thankfully they didn't go for the pipes exiting on the same side on the MC28. Not a fan of that look.
I did see the concept art for the next generation of NSR250 back in 99/'00 and it look great. Based on the NSR GP bike of the period, with pipe coming out under the seat unit. 'Twas in a Japanese magazine I seem to remember.
It looks like they were considering a black frame too, but glad they didn't. I'd love to see more of the artwork. _________________ Andy.
