Strange earthing

Fri Oct 23, 2015 9:02 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi All,
Looking at a bike that I am quite interested in purchasing.
Seems OK and runs OK but there is some strange wiring..
The vendor says that they have seen this before on Japanese market bikes.

Can anybody shed any light on whats going on and why they have done it?

Yeah, the Japanese have a real thing for their "ground kits". I have absolutely no idea why! There's nothing wrong with any of the stock NSRs.
