Coerce carbon hugger

Mon Nov 16, 2015 11:45 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi,

I have recently acquired a Coerce carbon hugger. Pics below (not mine, but the same).

When offering it uo to the swing arm, none of the mounting holes line up.

After much Googling (and searching on here) it seems some Coerce huggers were sold with fitting kits, but i cannot seem to identify if the NSR MC21 should have one or not?

I know they are relatively common/popular, so could anyone advise how they have them fitted?

Many thanks in advance!
Max

(also a pic of my bike, pre full strip down)

They are rather crudely held on with cable ties (tie wraps), I'm afraid.

For possibly a cleaner look, you may be able to use double-sided automotive foam. The stuff used to affix badges to car bodywork.

Blimey that is crude.

I'll look at the foam - I might be a bit paranoid about it flying off though?

Cheers,

Were did you acquire this nice hugger from. I might add it to my winter project list. My original mc28 is now a full fledged track bike.
