try calling holbeech tyres 01406 423611/422462 and ask for mark he will point in the right direction as what to use on what bikes etc
leeds tyres are worth a try as well 0113 2607383
a/r racing 01749 672890 alan races a 400 very quickly
it might seem alot for a set of tyres but cheaper than the repair when you drop it _________________ Half the strokes, twice the fun
i've been trying for ages to find out weather i can run a 160 section wet tyre on my 29, followed your advise and spoke to mark who explained to me why you cant (its to do with the contact patch size and the rubber deforming and going egg shaped) and advised me that 160 is an ok dry tyre, but really should be a 150 and ONLY use a 150 wet.
thanks again _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

I had the opportunity to run a 150 back to back to a 160. The 150 was a super-corsa DOT tire and the 160 was super-corsa slick (pirelli). Ran the 150 for a few laps, pulled into the pits, whipped off the 150 and on with the 160 (got to love the 28 rear end!). there seemed to be no difference. I believe I did raise the front to compensate for tire diameter difference. Now the 120 sized front.... don't do it!
