My MC21 project is coming along nicely but I need a few answers to my wheel selection problems.
I have a '92 SE chassis with a 2002 RS250 complete front end just getting the stem work done now.
The rear wheel is a '92 standard. 6 spokes of 'U' section, slightly offset and facing left / right alternately.
The front Marchesini is so similar that you need close inspection to tell the difference. It just looks more modern and neater. It also runs a 120/70 instead of 110/70.
I will be running with the heavier rear and lighter front (and fatter) this summer and would like both to be a matched pair.
Are there any rear wheels to match my front out there?
I would also like to run a 160 instead of a 150 on the rear to wed better with the front. Will this cause any chain fouling problems?
If I cannot find a matching rear I am prepared to look at a pair of new matching lightweight wheels.
I like the look of some Dymags I have seen. Will I encounter any fitment problems?
What other aftermarket wheels suit the bike?
Loads of questions. Any chance of loads of answers?
you can run a 160 on the CBR400 gullarm.
but a 160 wont help you tip in any quicker.. _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

I think you can use a 88-89 RS250 rear wheel on all nsr's as it uses the same sprocket carrier. I think they were all 18" though. Theres one on ebay in the states at the moment brand new. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
