hi all, well its safe to say that my mc16 loom is completley shot and isnt fixable. ive heard that i can put an mc18 ignition , loom , cdi etc onto the mc16 along with the cylinder heads and exhausts from an 18 also. can anyone confirm this? i should gain a few ponies also? is there anything that i should watch out for? thanks

In my opinion mc16 is a real pain...

Try to get an mc18 or better an mc21 things will be easier!

MC28?? i dont know this model is it a honda??

MC18 R2J flywheel and pick ups will fit on a MC16 and allow you to use the PGM-I system. The MC18 R5K system will not fit though as the pick ups and fly wheel are different.

MC18 (any model) barrels and heads fit and give good increase in power.

cheers for the replies guys, the mc18 bits sounds like what im going to do. i agree that the mc16 can be a pain especially in sourcing parts but having said that without the mc16 you wouldnt have the fancier models and that reason alone gives enough cause for my 16 to be back on the road. thanks and take care
