Possable meet up, bike display.

Thu Mar 24, 2011 12:57 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

The college I work for are holding another open day on Saturday May 14th, just outside Winchester.
I was wondering is any NSR-WOULD members would be interested in bringing a bike or two along to put on display? We have done this in the past, and the bikes drew a lot of interest. It’s also a good excuse to have a bit of a get together. Very Happy
Just gauging interest at the moment, we will need five or six bikes to make it worth while.
A link here to the event. http://www.sparsholt.ac.uk/pages/event_view.aspx?idCalendar=31

Any takers?

Come on Rob! you rode down to Beaulieu in the rain, and Winchester is closer than that!! You getting soft in your old age! Wink

If you can get jonnymac along Les that will be great. That will give us a good display, i'll even dig out the NSR-WORLD banner Razz

Looks like we're on for May 14th
Nice one!

If the weather is bad the bikes can be inside.

I'm free that weekend and could bring along my Rothmans SP and the RS250. Have you spoken to Wayne about bringing the MC18SP??

Do any of you guys go to the Colney Heath bike night on a Wednesday at the old Scout hut? They make a nice cuppa in the summer.

Will do. I usually go with my bike chums and have a burger and a shandy. It is a relaxed little meet with quite a good turn out and occurs every Thursday when the weather is nice.
