MC21 swingarm in MC18

Anyone done this?

I need a shock for my MC18 and they are rare so exploring the upgrade options, I know MC21 shocks are more available and I wonder if swapping the whole kit is a better way to go.

Looking for any insight on this.

just wondering about this conversion for our own mc18 how handy is it to put an mc21 swingarm into an mc18 , does it require spacers turned up or linkages made , can the shock stay out of the mc18 etc , anybody done this on the site ?
