torque arm

hi
can anyone tell if this is were my torque arm is or should be(see pic)my gear changes are clunky so after reading the threads on it i went looking for the torque arm.not sure if i am looking in the wrong place or it is missing.if it is missing does anyone know were i can get one?

Yeah looks like you are missing your torque arm.. one end bolts to that location the other to your swingarm pivot bolt. If it not there there would have to be a spacer of some sort on that swingarm bolt (hopefully someone can confirm this). Have a good look around as you may have just lost the bolt and your torque arm may be hanging and hiding behind the frame.


This is a photo of the torque arm. With the bolt missing obviously.

it does not seem to be there at all and there does not seem to be a spacer,does the other end of the torque arm sit on the swing arm shaft between the frame and the chain guide?looks like i need to find a torque arm Mad Mad

The swingarm shaft goes through the torque arm. The torque arm looks like a dogbone with the swingarm shaft going through one end and the bolt to the gearbox casing through the other.
