kiss cdi harness

hi to all
just wondering whats the deal with the kiss cdi derestrictor harness
is it the same as doing the wire splice ?
also ive heard some people say it advances the timing more is that true?

ha yes if you lived a little closer i cant wait to try it out on the bike but im still rebuilding my motor .
but i should have a whole lot of photos and a running bike in two weeks or so .
also whats the deal with the other small kiss delimiter box type are they the same or??

Cant see how it can be anything more than a wire splice without snips really.

Good man...Andy is always a bit coy about the proper HRC box (the little 1/2 of the mc21 race loom that some people splice into the road loom) but I think the main tell tale for the fact it does nothing is he doesn't run one and has just the orange/blue splice done Idea

There's one of these Kiss thingies on my PGM-III racebike but I've never considered it to be anything more than a fancy looking wiresplice.
I tend to forget it's there as I rarely remove the seatunit.

didnt want to damage it pulling it apart so i tested it with a multi meter
