FS: RS125 Shock, brand new. Australia

Wed Jun 22, 2011 1:39 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

As per my front end, I bought this shock for my MC21, but I've sold the bike and no longer need the shock.

It is brand new - in original packaging and never fitted to a bike.

I don't have a spring, but you'd need one to suit your weight anyway. Require's Tyga rear end, (or similar) to allow the piggy back reservoir to fit.

Aus$450- plus shipping. Will ship anywhere at buyer's expense.

With the TYGA subframe, do you need TYGA bodywork, or can you use the subframe with OEM?

Want to keep mine OEM, so is there another possibility to fit it if I were to go ahead?

I'm not sure mate - I haven't fitted this shock or a Tyga rear to an NSR.

Si would be a better person to ask, (hopefully he sees this thread...).

I suspect that; no - you would not be able to run stock bodywork with the Tyga subframe.
The reason the Tyga rear allows the use of a piggy back shock is that it moves the battery box and other crap away from the shock.

Go the Tyga rear - it looks much more modern than the OEM stuff.

Standard seat will not fit tyga subframe, shame tyga dont do lightweight s/frame to accept oem seat.

Talk to Dan or Roy, they've both got fancy ally subframes that suit stock bodywork. Not cheap though...not one bit...

And this is the end of chatting in classifieds!
