FS: R6 front end, (for NSR USD conversion) Australia

Wed Jun 22, 2011 1:27 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I bought this front end with the intention of converting it to fit my MC21. I've now sold the MC21 and no longer need these parts.

This is from a 2005 R6. The geometry of the triples is very similar to the NSR250. See Silikesguinnes's bike - same front end.

I have the complete front end including;
Forks
Triple Clamps
Radial Mount Calipers
Radial Master Cylinder
Goodridge braided lines
Axle
Front Guard
Clip Ons
New levers
Switches
Throttle with cables
Everything in the pics. There's a few minor scratches here and there, but overall in very good condition.

Will sell for Aus$900- plus shipping. Overseas shipping from Australia is expensive, but if anyone is willing to pay it, I'll ship them.

Is this still for sale?

Do you think a conversion on an MC18 would be as easy?

The question is, has it been adapted for the NSR wheel, or will you need to fit an R6 wheel?

I've talked to Si and worked out I can fit it with a magtek reasonably easily.

Sorry - I haven't logged in here for a while.

It's still for sale.

It has not been modified at all - you will have to work out the best way to make it fit your bike.

I measured it up yesterday, and I think it will be relatively easy to slot it all into my RGV, so if there are no reasonable offers, I'll keep it.
