Posh or wire splice ?

Sun Aug 14, 2011 11:28 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi !!!

I found today the delimiter that the guy from the bike shop give me. I was looking for it, because i didn't remember the brand, and i wanted to ask here what was the better option.

So, the delimiter it's a Posh Red Rev. Whats better, wiresplice or this one ? Are they simply the same ?

I attach a photo of it.

Thanks in advance !

Smile

Hi,

This has been dicussed in previous threads. These de-limiter/restriction boxes are essentialy an expensive wire splice. Then again, if your not up for cutting into your harness and you can justify the costs stick with the box.

There is a wire-splice info on the "tuning" section of this forum and it is constantly repeated in this message board that all delimiters are a wire-splice in a box. I guess having multiple options should have been helpful but they seem to give headaches... Laughing

Do the wire splice as I can't find a way of plugging the 4-stroke gizmo you have in your pic.

First, thanks for your answers.

I ever make a search before post, and that time was my fault because i think i made it some time ago ( and dont know why i was thinking i didnt found anything ).

I have just made a search this morning, and i have spent more than an hour reading about these boxes, so Andy, delete this thread when you want, my question was answered dozen times...

Sorry about that.

Thanks to god, that box cames with the bike and cost me nothing, but never installed, it's just new and came with instructions. As i suspect, it's simply a wire splice in a neat box, I'm going with the wire splice, i want to keep my bike as clean as i can and dont want that "fancy" box installed.

2Tracelab, the box is the correct for the MC21, is not a 4stroke one.

Thanks to all ! Wink
