Hi all ive just done the wire splice on my mc21 everything else is standard including airbox,i don't know what i was expecting but im a little disapointed, will there be any differance in the first three gears or is it just in the last three now that it will advance in 4th, 5th, 6th,? i havn't realy taken it for a proper ride yet and only been in 4th.
The stock airbox lid is stifling... that's why delimiting calls for modifying it. The stock airbox lid isn't capable of flowing enough air to make 60+hp.
You're only going to reailse full power when you do the job properly, and therefore it's hardly surprising you're disappointed. _________________ Andy.

ok andy so it's all or nothing then, il have to do the full job, was just hopeing to get a taste of what could be, il try sorce some jets, do you know if the nsr jets are interchangable with other 2 strokes eg rgv,cr,rm,yz etc i had a x7 and the jets are the same as the kawasaki kh only you get three with the kh
Allens performance have all the jets youll need, look em up on the web, their only a couple of quid each, give em a ring youll have them in a day or two. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto
To flow more air you can do the normal mod of the original airbox lid, or for extra pose value could think about fitting one of these 'JHA' special parts....... _________________ Rich

While I've always been a huge fan of Jha, I have some real doubts about that airbox lid. Hopefully we'll get to run a bike with one on the dyno one day, just to see the effect. _________________ Andy.

Feel free to borrow this one Andy, if the Dyno test opportunity arises. _________________ Rich

Probably worth a call to them. There's no substitute for experience. I found that out with my MC18 when I went to Total Traction. _________________ Why do things simply when you can complicate them
Hi yes iv'e heard of them they are well known for scooter tuning, i have a scooter tuner near me called psn scooters, the bloke who runs it is suppose to have the fastest italjet dragstar in yorkshire (so iv'e been told) and has a good reputation so going to give him a ring tomorrow, iv'e ordered my jets today so should hopfuly have it all together and ready for it's first run with modifications done by mid week, will let you all know how it goes (without jet talk so you can relpy if you like)
