Take a look and see, there is an open hose barb on my bike that seems like it's letting air into the motor after the carbs (thereby throwing off the mixture too lean?)

I'm sure something goes here, otherwise should i cap it off?

It's just a breather. There should be a hose attached to it, that runs under the carbs, down the back of the motor, and exits under the swingarm, but it won't hurt if it's missing.
