The general concensus seems to be they are better than they were but not perfect.

Not bought one myself but seen a couple of bikes with it on, the really anoying thing I have noticed is that the fairing and seat unit stripes never seem to line up properly.Cant comment on ease of fit, Watfordhorn has used a couple of sets so he might be the man to ask.

I think that it really depends on your expectations and what you are trying to achieve, if you want a set of track day bodywork or tidy your bike up on the cheap then they are fine. If you want it to look like it just rolled out of the factory then I would put the money towards a nice set of oem bodywork.

OEM all the way. Chinese stuff is like Tesco jeans. You would put them on if you were naked, but wouldn't take your Levis off to put them on.

A good friend used them twice. One for a RGV250 and another for a VFR400. First one doesnt fit too bad, but has some little bubbles and marks in the paint. The VFR one was really bad, with a couple of fittings missed for the rear light, terrible aligment in a couple of parts, and some fails in the paint.

Look for a used pair of Levis, fix them the best as you can, and they will be better than a brand new pair of Tesco. Girls likes Levis, you know ... Very Happy

I bought a set for my 28 as a temp measure. Def not just a bolt on job but not too bad if you are patient and have a little mechanical experience. Overall I am very happy with the result as the total cost was less than one new panel from Honda. I will in time (after the americans and europeans stop wrecking the world's economy) invest in 'proper' bodywork though.

I bought a set for a 3MA a few weeks ago and they are not a straight swap. I needed to drill out a few holes here and there but the paint is really well applied. If you are handy with the spanners its not an issue fitting them but as mentioned above standard panels repainted are the way to go unless of course you dont have any or in my case only have half of them.

Body Replacement Kits

Sun Oct 23, 2011 4:43 pm » Post: #14 » Download Post

I would not throw my money away on those Chinese body kits. I would rather invest in a Japanese body kit any day.
