I'm running Dunlop Alpha 10's in 110/70/17 and 150/60/17. There maybe better tires out there but they feel super to me. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
I agree Dave, I was talking to Andy and was saying they give great feed back with a good area where you can feel them sliding about. Maybe not the fastest tyre out there but a trusty one. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
And the 364 in the damp, bloody amazing how fast you can go on a wet track! _________________ MC21SP Plaything

GPR 70 still in production?.. I used race on in back 98-2000 on my CBRR & RVF..
I luv them .. Used them on wet race also but cut a thread at edges of the tyre so water can disperse easily..
I will try to look around at my local dealer as currently they stock Alpha 10 .
R5K - BT016 in 110/70-17 and 160/60-18 . They do make a 150/70-18 rear, but the Bridgestone recommendation is 160 for 4.5" and 150 for a 4". They are awesome tyres, multi compound, which is great for Oz roads as our day rides are the equivalent of riding from one end of England to the other.
Should be a 150/60 on the rear, not a 150/70. I don't know if that was a typo, but in my opinion you'd be better off with Honda's recommended tyre size and some HRC shock link plates than Bridgestone's generic numbers!
There's certainly nothing wrong with a 150/60x17 on an MC21 or MC28 rim, which is the same width as an R5/6K. With an over-sized tyre you actually run the risk of running a reduced contact patch, and consequently less grip. _________________ Andy.

GPR70's got replaced with the Alpha 10. Both are really good though. Having said that I've killed the rear Alpha 10 on the NSR within 300 miles. After Donington its bald on the right hand side and like new on the left! _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
