After the disaster that was my PGM III another forum member came to my rescue and sold me a PGM III, HRC box and HRC loom.

I've already removed the GPS, and don't plan to run it.

Do I need to do anything special with the HRC loom, seeing as I've no GPS?

For example, earth the 3rd gear wire, thus making the controller think the bike is always in third?

After much much searching (anyone wanna guess how many pages of results you get searching for GPS and HRC?!)

Evidently I DO need to earth the THIRD GEAR WIRE seeing as the GPS is removed.

That will be job officially jobbed.
