What colour wheels on an MC21 R

I have a completely std MC21 R7L in white and red. The wheels are a bit tatty so will be having them powder coated. BUT they are red. Did the R have white wheels and the SE Red wheels ? I want to make sure it stays true to the original spec (even though the Mrs thinks the red wheels look better)

Your version should have white wheels.

Your misses has a good eye for colour, i think they look better in red.

Yuk! Red wheels! Much nicer as Honda intended, in white!

Things I would change, if owning various stock colour schemes...

MC21SP Winner's One : White wheels, or redo all the red in dayglow, like the RS's.
MC28SP Repsol : Orange wheels -- Honda's choice on that one really baffles me!

(Keeping a set of original coloured wheels too, of course!) Smile

I guess Honda got a special deal on black magteks, after all they only made 2501 black wheeled MC28 SPs.
