21 to 28 swingarm conversion

Sun Apr 17, 2005 12:56 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I want to put a MC28 swing arm on a 21.
Besides the swingarm and the wheel, and exhaust, what else do I need off the 28?

What I am asking is will the 21 rear brake calipers, brake disk, and shock fit with the 28 swing arm.

The shock will go, but everything else is different, including the pivot shaft which is a larger diameter on the MC28, so you will need to ream out the mouting points on the MC21 frame.

I really like the look of the single sided swinger.

I know it's not worth it and it's heavier, but it looks so nice.

Absolutely, but I was just wondering... if he's a fashion victim he may want the full smart card deal!

I would love the 28, but I can't bring one into the country yet.

Where are you in Canada? I have a 28 in Washington State. Not titled in the US yet, but I do have the Japanese title in my name. How much are you willing to spend? Twisted Evil
