What sort of radiator is this?

Thu Aug 09, 2012 3:01 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

I have purchased this with the understanding that it is a F3 radiator for an MC28. The problem is that the entry and exit points are not the same as the standard MC28, so either the seller was telling porkies, or I need to make up some hoses (or butcher the radiator).

Can any of you experts out there confirm what model this is? If it is something that is rare and useful to someone else, then I will sell it on, if not, the hacksaw and MIG may come into play...

There's no such thing as an F3 radiator for an MC28, and it's not an HRC SS/SP NSR250 rad.

I think you were conned , any chance of getting your money back ?
The one's that I have noticed and that are decent 2nd hand radiators are going for top prices . Is there enough call to have some made and what would it cost to have them made ?

It's certainly not MC21 either. VFR / CBR400 perhaps?

Or another bike manufacturer...

Yes, well the person concerend is a complete rogue, if you are looking at buying anything out of NZ, let me know first. I purchased this well over a year ago, so too late to return it, it will have to be something that I have to live with.

cheers

Simon
