One for the NF5 experts. How much compatability is there between gearboxes in the NF5 range? will a 89-90 cassette fit the later 91-92? Not concerned about ratios, but need to know if bearing/shaft/spline sizes pose signficant problems.

I'm downloading and cross referencing parts manuals, but thought I could get a quick answer here from the people who've done it all before.

I am sure the cassette plate didnt change, I know the primary gear changed from 58T in 90 to 56Tin 91/92. so you will need the driven gear as well to match whatever primary you put in place.

Pretty sure the shafts and bearings were common.
