Bit of advice please

Wed Dec 26, 2012 6:58 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Some of the forums cannot be viewed and a message comes up saying ''Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum.''

I know i am not the brightest of individuals but is this the subscription thing because i am quite willing to subscribe if it opens up all areas or do you need to be granted special access in addition to subscribing for certain forums?

Also in the forum rules it says something about not posting jetting information. Is this so somebody doesnt do what somebody might reccomend which then results in a seizure of the person that copies the recommended settings?

We all surely know that 2-Strokes are very individual machines and jetting depends on so many variables that jetting information cannon really be carried across from machine to machine, is this the reason or am i missing something else?

Cheers

Simon

If you subscribe then you will gain access to all area's as well as discount from not only NSR-World products but also the supporting vendors.

Yes, there is also a section for jetting. This is kept out of the public forum as the owners have been threatened with legal action over jetting that was discussed on the forum resulting in damage.

We are not willing for this to happen again so all non standard jetting is in the members only forums.

Bloody ell ... It's a strange old world ... some folk do not want to be responsible for their own actions these days, this blame culture really pizzes me off.

You would have thought enthusiasts and members of any particular forum like this are man enough to appreciate information on offer as a guide to better their own knowledge and maybe give something back in return when personal experiences may be beneficial to all ... as a community.

Thanks anyway Steven, consider me a member shortly.

Havent found a forum with so much two stroke knowledge to date and although most of it is NSR based (And i would love a mint 'as good as new' NSR as a road bike and collectors piece) a lot of it i can read over to my NXA which is absolutely the most chersished thing i own.

Ive been with the Honda brand since i changed from my RGV250's and RG500's back in the day when i had some hair Laughing

To be fair, people are more forgiving these days, but as Steve says we have been threatened with legal action in the past due to their own ineptitude! At least if someone is prepared to subscribe to the forum then their support and commitment to its development are far more certain, and we will therefore be far more open with them when sharing information.

Subscription opens up not only the additional forum areas (which also includes a certain level of HRC NSR support), but also online sections of the English Service Manual (amount of available online content depends on the subscription level), some HRC manuals, and also the Members Garage.

Again, as Steve has also mentioned, Supporting Members also get discounts from Supporting Vendors, in the Marketplace for certain items, and special offers from time-to-time.

Note: Supporting Members aren't immune to our sarcasm... ask silikesguiness! (With one "n"!) You must maintain a sense of humour and a thick skin at all times! Laughing

Simon, I have not been a supporting member of this site for too long but I can confirm that the urine has been extracted on several occasions!
Also, if you do become a supporting member you will see a fantastic range of NSR and RS projects in the Members NSR Builds section.
