A few people have been asking to see my NF5. Thought I'd post some pictures of it here to share rather than just email them out.
It's 1992 Honda RS250 NF5. The last one that shares it's crankcase with the NSR. It's had a bit of a winter make over and has been treated to a new set of fairings.
Keep it Tom,and ditch the NX5,you'll regret it,besides, them NX5's are getting two a penny!!!! jesus what have i stirred up now. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto

The only comparative laps I've done are around my street and to be honest between the mummy wagons and kids on push bikes it was difficult to notice any difference.....
I'm not that good at 'feeling' how a bike's handling anyway. I've happily ridden bikes round a track all day only for someone else to state 'that's unridable!'
Stephen might be able to remember power outputs as I've had both on his dyno. NF5 72bhp, NX5 74bhp wasn't it??
Pretty much Tom. Where an NF5 finishes a NX5 starts. Best I think we had out of Tom's NF5 was 73hp, his NX5 made 74hp. Both almost 100% stock.
NX5 has to be one of the best chassis out there, you have to love the NF5 though for its NSR-ness. I'd be torn if I could only have one.
I'd want the NF5 because its rare and looks so classical Honda GP. The NX because of its tuneablity and available parts. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
