Agree with mellorp there, mine have been "looked" at by maxton, and i wouldnt change em for usd for all the tea in china. If you must go the usd route, nc35,seem to be the popular choice, at least that way you are staying with the Honda theme. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto
Hi Andy............I`m not too far away from you (Doncaster)..........Nice to have another northern lad on the forum.......................Let`s have some pics of the bike please, cheers.............Paul.
Looking more for looks than performance but if it means compromising the bikes handling I would consider sticking with the stock items.
What I'm trying to do is a "close as possible" Cadalora/Okada replica, so will post pics when complete Paul as the bike is in bits atm.
Ta for your help!
I had a RVF400 front end on my mc21 until recently, its a very easy modification and seemed to work well. Updates the looks and looks like oem fitment plus you get the bigger discs and improved braking. You do loose a bit of steering lock though, the wider spaced USD forks hit the radiator unless you reduce the lock.
You need to remove the stem from your nsr yoke and fit it to the rvf yoke and use a Tyga steering lock reducer, although Tyga now make a rather nice set of billet yolks to suit this conversion if you want to push the boat out.
