I am toying with selling my NSR250 MC28 as I never get to use it since having a second baby arrive , working all the time etc etc etc. I am the first and only owner since it was imported into the UK just over a year ago. Its a standard bike with 2 standard cards. Everything has been done (New Dunlops, new Rad hoses (Honda parts). Service with new carb gasketts and fuel tap. I even have spare carb gasketts and fuel taps and a brand new seat in its box (Honda part). Steve on this website actually worked on the bike last year as it wasn't revving properly (main jets not in correctly). Now it produces a healthly 39.2 (for a standard MC28) and revs cleanly round to 12 or 13
I'm still not convinced I want to sell it but it just sits in my garage under a cover. I take it out about once a month to keep everything working correctly. I'll attemp to attach a link from photobucket. I've spent a fortune on bits (tyres, spare smartcard etc) so will only sell for a decently price but I guess that's fair to say about everyone trying to sell something!. I live in Kent UK and will only sell to people willing to collect. Its in very nice condition.

I would put it up for the absolute lowest you would take and start the auction from there.

Realistically as its an R model with no dry clutch or adjustable suspension then it will be quite a bit lower than £4500. It looks in very good original condition with very low miles so you may get lucky.

£3500 is my guess at what you may get as a private seller.

Thanks. My wife wants the garden landscaped at a cost of £5000, seeing as my bike won't make anywhere near this level it may give me the excuse not to have to sell it after all ! We'll see what Ebay can achieve but at least I've got a starting point now.

Sold to Fastline for £4000, will be at the Stafford bike show for sale apparently. Miss it already but hey ho I'm going to get my garden landscaped. Awesome.
