Your right Simon, the last few years of the NXA had the 10 spoke wheels.
I have a spare pair of the earlier style NXA rims if your interested.

Hey Richard, thanks for the offer but i am after a set of the later spec wheels or more specifically a set of wheels that came with the HRC bike for it's specific year of manufacture.

As far as i can gather my bike was first ridden in 2008 and was one of the later models but the wheels have been swapped out for Marvics but i only have CP to verify the history.

It would be good to find out the frame and engine number sequence VS time line for all of the NXA's in order to verify the year of build ... presumably the highest number equates to the the later years and the lowest to the earlier years.

I dont know where mine stands in the production run so presumably the plate on the frame tells you?

My RS was made in 1999. The frame number, stamped on the rivited plate to the right hand frame spar says MR01 9910037
The first two digits after MR01 tell you the year of manufacture, in my case 1999.
Your plate will have stamped MR02 then the first two number after that will tell you the year of manufacture.

P.S. Just sent you a mail about an NXA tank.

Hi Innes, thanks for the mail about the tank but i have taken Christian up on his offer and am just waiting to take delivery.

My frame number is MR02 0210124 so surely they didnt make 10124 RS's from day dot but the '10' is common as yours is 10 037

Many thanks to Christian for the tank, well packaged, reasonable price and pleasant to deal with.

I have a 2007 and my frame is #100 (last 3 digits.). I also had the racing team germany chassis at one point, that one was a 2008 bike with frame #105. I suspect your frame is either one of the last 2008 bikes or one of the first 2009's. Most likely one of the last 2008 ones since you mentioned you think it was ridden in 2008.

2006 I believe was the change over to the 10 spoke forged marchensini's.
