MPH overlay stickers

Thu Apr 25, 2013 12:26 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Can anyone recommend the best way to show an MPH reading on an MC21

2 options I have are:
take the speedo apart and overlay the KPH values with the correct MPH equivalent. I'm not worried about the odometer staying in Km's
Overlay the glass with an MPH sticker.
Converting 80 to 50 and adjusting 10mph for every 16kph difference is doing my head in. Great for mental arithmetic though !!! OK so 30 is 48 and 70 is 112 but .......

Why not use a speedo drive cable converter, they fit between the cable and clock and work perfectly... make o note of the milage when you fit it so that you can work out your exact total milage....

I would just do something like this if you want to keep the stock gauges. Another option is to fit a different setup like the Trailtech digital display which is what i'm running on one of my bikes.
