Ok so I have purchased an NX5 rear rim from Japan with the help of Drew to replace my buckeled one(@Highside).
All looked fine in the photos until I tried to put the tire on, after some wrestling with the tire machine a little voice in my head said put the old rim on top of then new and check. What I found made me almost sh*t in my pants !
The new rims is an 18" and narrower than my original 17".
So my question, why the @#$% is there an NX5 18" wheel out there, are they meant for wet tires or what
I can't seem to think for what other bike it would be as all the other 400/750's have the wheel on the other side and the rotation is correct. With the correct amount of spokes and its an HRC wheel
I'm so disgusted at this stage that I don't even want to look in the direction of the NX5...
At least up to 1996, HRC offered two 18" wheels for the NX5, one was 4.5" wide, the other 4.75" wide.
I can appreciate your pain in getting the wrong rim, bummer. _________________ Rich
