Are you looking for the MC21? Which is there... if you are looking for the MC16, MC18 or MC28 they are available in the members section...

Jamie also has some wiring diagrams available on his site in varying resolutions.

I'm after the MC18 R2J and R5K wiring diagrams. Would appear that the replacement engine I found that I thought was a 2J is actually a 5K and I cannot get a spark with the PGM1. I have therefore replaced the flywheel/pickups over to the R2J type (on the R5 engine) to try to get round extra wire in R5 pickup but still do not have a spark. Hence the need for the wiring diagrams. Are there any other wiring differences on 5K engine that would stop me getting a spark?

In the swap I have also "lost" what the 2 pin pink/brown/black wiring connects to (possibly oil pump). I am using premix but wonder if that may be afftecting lack of spark?

Any help from the Forum very welcome....

Wiring diagram MC16, printout?

Sun May 26, 2013 10:15 am » Post: #6 » Download Post

Hello,

I,m new here and I'm from Holland. So excuse my bad english please, I'll try my best!

For my M16 I am looking for a printable version of the wiring diagram. I've lookend here http://www.nsr-world.com/workshop/ but just like MancMC18, the site does not excist or cannot be found.

Is there somebody who can help me?

The problem is this, maybe somebody reconises this, by accellerating at exact 8000rpm the power drops and the engine seems to run on 1 cylinder. Sometimes even the rpm-meter falls out when this happens.
Then, if you manage to keep going, when you speed up past 8500rpm the engine picks up again an runs perfectly through till 11000rpm.

In my opinion it is pure electric, couse the carburators, sparkplugs, spark wires and everything else is checked and OK.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks, Wander Westerveld
Silvolde, Holland.
