Wed May 04, 2005 4:06 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

any of you happen to have the part numbers for the HRC hose, RS250 spark plug and caps that I need to complete the front head mod?
Also, is it a must that i switch to the RS250 type plug. those fuggers are buku bucks. Shocked is clearance that bad?
thanks

I am using a standard plug and cap and the clearance is fine. The part number for the hose is in the engine tuning section under the cylinder head mod section. Very Happy

Make sure you use a 0.6mm HRC base gasket as per the other recent threads!!

I use the stock plugs and clearance is no problem, but where/how do you mount your plug leads? Mine no longer mounts in the usual way.

I got a hold of a spare upper cylinder spark plug coil, and installed the lower cylinder plug cap on it. The upper coil has a longer wire. A new coil is around 2200 yen.

You can use the stock NSR plugs, but you will have to trim the plastic a tad. No clearance issues with the tire for me.
