MC28 PGM Card - selectable

Fri Jul 12, 2013 7:55 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Apparently you can get a Magnetic key that has been chipped and you can select between:

Standard / P010 / 020 / 030 & 000

You supply VIN of bike and serial code of PGM , this is then put onto a new modified card - you don't need to send your unit or card.

Hold onto your hats :

98,000 Yen for it Shocked

MM!

Just seen the post.
Prob asking a silly question here... But if the card is switchable, how would this work with the wire splice? Loss of Speedo reading etc?
Cheers

Just came across this while reading old posts.

It would be very interesting to know how that is supposed to work. I wonder how he made the connections between the EEPROM socket and the key card circuit. Because if I look at the "X-Ray picture" of a key card, there is literally nothing in the corner of the manipulated key card. Looking at the key card from the back it doesn't look like it can be "opened" in any way, the circuit is completely sealed. Too bad Ryouta Nishikawa didn't answer in more detail or show a picture of the back of the card.

gepe.
