I'm trying to locate a new set of mc28 sp fork tubes. I think mine are a little too pitted to re-chrome. Actually I would consider re-chroming if I could find a shop in US. I've spoken to a few and they seemed reluctant based on my description of the pits.

There is someone selling aftermarket tubes online, but ad says they are for '90 - '93 sp models. A quick check of the parts list shows last digits of -831 for those years. List for my bike shows -671 so I'm note sure if they are interchangeable.

They are not directly interchangeable but can be made to fit!

I would try and have yours rechromed. Plenty of places in the U.K.that do it, cant imagine tbe postage would be to excesive.

They are still available from Honda, much cheaper in Japan also... PM Moriwaki Man.
