Hi all,

Can anyone help me my baby has died this weekend. She turns over and then dies. I have done the following:

Changed the spark plugs they where a bit dirty.
Cleaned the air filter
She has petrol
Checked the fuses
Checked that the switch is in run position and ignition is on(before someone asks me that)
Checked spark on both plugs spark is blue/white colour
Checked for earth leak none to be found
Checked servo motor for power valve turned it to the high position and it turns back to low
Checked the electrical plugs made sure they are all fine and properly inserted

I want to do a compression test if someone can just give me what is should be i would be gratefull. And any suggestions would be welcome.

Regards,

Ruan

If it has spark then it is a fueling problem , strip the carbs and clean all the jets and passages , especially the pilot jets . Give it a try and see

Hi Neal,

Tx for the advise but the problem is bigger. Did a compression test on both cilinders one is 7.1 top one 2. Stripped the top one and i have a nice hole in my piston. Parts are going to the enigeering shop this week will have my pistons and gaskets next week. So hopefully if everything goes to plan my baby will be running next weekend......

What i do need advice on is how to run in the new pistons the right way. If anyone can help me or point me in the right direction pretty please with a cherry on top.
