Hi All,

I have ordered six sets of 53.93mm & six sets of 53.96mm Vertex pistons for my race bike.
These have the 14mm gudgeon pin. They are a cast piston. They have a Teflon coating on the skirt area.
I'm fitting them in my NSR250 F3 - NF5 RS250 top end - engine.
I got them through UK Road & Race.
They come as a kit, with piston, gudgeon pin/clips & ring, for £119.99.
The places in the UK listed just the 53.93mm piston.
When I looked at the 2014 Vertex catalogue, they still list all sizes.
So, I asked Grant at UK Road & Race to order the other size I wanted.

I haven't tried them yet, so will report back when I know more.

I'm having four cylinders replated. I also still have six sets of standard HRC pistons to run first.

I will be bothering Andy & Steve to get a couple of cranks checked over and hopefully rebuilt in the next couple of months.
I was thinking of fitting con-rods with 15mm gudgeon pin to my cranks.
For now, I think I'll see how these pistons go first.
