Yesterday afternoon, I travelled 360km and purchased a 1992/3 MC21 SE for NZ$2,000.
I got up early this morning and extracted the rear axle.
I then cleaned it and measured it up and drew up the pretty picture attached.
Also, the nut is 18.2mm thick.
Hows that for service? _________________ [color=#808080][size=9]Yes,.. I too know how to waste Time and Money,...
Nice pic.
I saw that bike on trademe, if it's the same one?
Must be nice to get a complete bike rather then a pile of cardboard boxes and plastics.
I might be interested in the spare frame. I have a set of footpeg brackets somewhere, i think.
Yeah Dannyvirk, I am sure we are talking about the same bike.
It will be a few weeks before I know what bits I need and what I am going to be doing with the spare frame.
But in any case I will keep you in mind. We may be able to swap a few bits to each others benefit.
I am not expecting to have this bike completed in any great hurry.
Possibly a 1 to 3 year mission? Possibly it will end up as a 300cc machine, just for the hell of it?
I ran out of things in the shed to tinker away at, so I had to buy something. _________________ [color=#808080][size=9]Yes,.. I too know how to waste Time and Money,...
