Engine numbers MC21 ?

Thu Jun 26, 2014 2:25 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi All,

Just brought myself a nice MC21 just a quick question do all the engine numbers start MC16E I have been told the crank cases are the same from the 16 to the 28 ...

Picking the bike up in a couple of weeks will post up some pictures the bike is in good condition but I will give it a complete going over to get it to as new ...

Cheers
Paul

Almost all NSR250 cases are stamped MC16E. It's the NSR250 "model configuration" number.

The exception are HRC cases, and some blank cases that we've seen that most likely came new from Honda Parts sales, that should probably have then been re-stamped with the correct number.
