Hi all
Just wondered if anyone can answer this question......I recently fitted a new crank to the above engine and according to the manual it says to alighnment the white dot on the crank with the mark on the gear on back of clutch(dry clutch) however there is no mark on the clutch gear,I cannot find a mark what so ever, am I reading the manual wrong and how critical will it be if I just refit the clutch assembly any help will be most appreciated
Cheers. Rich

Hello Rich, and welcome to NSR-WORLD.

If there's no dot, then just assemble it... you can't work with what's not there! Smile

I've seen a lot of motors without any assembly markings. Can't explain why some do and some don't.

Cheers andy I just didn't want to take the chance and shake the girl apart if it was going to be a balancing issue so 'twas best to ask,now my minds at rest I shall proceed to get her back together, I've got a lot going on at mo but at some point in the future id like to bring it down and maybe get it up on dyno and make sure that she's all good
Cheers for the reply
