Ohlins rear shock. MC21/28

Mon Sep 01, 2014 6:35 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Thanks to our close relationship with Ohlins Asia, we're in discussions to get the rear shock for the NSR250 MC21/28 produced again.

We need to make quite a commitment, so I'm just checking to see what interest there is out there before we bite the bullet.

Price wise, it looks like we will be able to supply at a very reasonable price.

Feel free to add your comments, good or bad.

Cheers,

Matt.

Sounds good, but in the UK you might have to compete with Nitron, prices, 'around £400' all depends on peoples perspective of 'reasonable' or if you can be more specific at this time?

This may sound silly but why what do you mean by "produce"? They already make remote reservoir shocks with roughly the correct eye to eye length and stroke is easy to change. They would just need to put in the proper spacers, spring and valving. Unless that's what you mean by produce?

Price wise I believe Penske can build you a 8700 series triple clicker with height adjustment for around $1200. That will include spring and valving. I could be wrong though. Plus I'm not sure what your price point is on the Ohlins or what model it would be. =]

Here in UK, there is advertised an ohlns shock for 21 & 28, model S46HR1C1L priced at £841, dont know if this realy is NSR specific, but that is the sort of price you would have to compete with here Matt.
