This may seem like a stupid question but I cant figure out how to remove the rear sprocket so I can install an upgrade. About 6 months ago I bought a 1989 MC18 that had been sitting in a shed for 8 years with the hopes of restoring it. It is my second bike after an 88 cbr250r so I am learning as I go. The bike is almost completely disassembled but I cant figure out where the heads of the bolts are that hold the sprocket or how to get at them. I can post pictures if anyone is interested but most of the bike is in pretty good condition with around 12000kms on the clock. If any one knows it would be really helpfull. All I have found to go off is this so far.
If you have the wheel out the bike, lay it down disc side and pull the sprocket out of the wheel, along with the sprocket carrier, which it is bolted to, once it comes away all will be clear, good luck. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto
