Finished the workshop at last

Sun Jan 25, 2015 7:54 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi guys,
Just thought I'd share a few piccies of my long overdue workshop.
Sealy work bench, kms hydraulic ramp, PVC floor tiles, painted white walls, new strip lighting.
Bikes have been stored at my brothers for last 6 months so it was good to get them home.
First job is to sort brakes and oil seals on K reg and ride it this year.
The E reg will be a total rebuild to as original spec as possible.
Have put a TV and DVD player in as well and have been watching the glory days of the late 80s, early 90s 500 gp.
It's taken me 25 years to get a decent workshop and I'm loving it.

Very nice, just built a big shed for mine too. Would rather have it done in block or brick, but couldn't afford it. Is that a 'viewing window' for visitors, as well Smile

Hi guys, I forgot about the fridge and to honest I don't have the room. Bit of an oversight that one.
The window is just the outside one with reflection of bike in it.
The workshop is just a single garage so isn't as big as it may seem on photos, totally adequate though.

As I haven't a garage or workshop I am very envious the hours you could spend in there, is there a fridge ??

Brilliant.

I'm getting quite a bit of resistance from my better half but I did manage a bit of time on Saturday.
At this rate spring, summer and autumn will have come and gone before I'm back on the road.
Must admit though I had the DVD Roads playing at the same time.
Really good watch that one.
Still, got forks out and will change dodgy seals and refit this weekend.
(If she'll let me) Sad
