Tyga exhaust muffler hangers

Tue Feb 24, 2015 2:46 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all,

I've got Tyga pipes on my MC28. I've cracked the weld on the mount on both pipes and had to re-weld them. If you run the Tyga tail, then you can buy hangers for the cans from Tyga. Nothing seems to be available if you run the stock sub frame. I had some hangers designed and made up in Aus using a water jet. I think they turned out pretty well (photos attached). The guy has the design on file if anyone else is interested.

I had the same thing with my Tyga's on my MC21.
The weld broke on both sides.
The hangers are looking nice!

I thinking of buying the new Tyga pipes for my bike.
I have the same bike as you. The new pipes are using the original footrest hangers for the passenger.

I had the exact same thing with my Tyga's on my MC21 as well. Installed, road once, and then the right side cracked. I'm also going to have it re-welded, and also the side that didn't break, as based on what i'm hearing, it's bound to break sooner or later. I'm interested in a set if the price is right.
