Once I've finished on the 1200 Daytona, I was going to turn my attention to the MC21, which hasn't been used in years (last ran maybe 3 years ago).

When it was last used it ran fine, but it did backfire once every 8-10 seconds or so, but only when running at tickover.

I'm no expert on 2-strokes, so any advice as to what I should do to get it running would be appreciated, as would advice on the misfire.

21000km, completely standard.

Obviously I'll replace all fluids etc, it was mechanical advice I was mainly after.
