Gearbox Oil Level..............

Does anyone have an idea how to check to Gearbox Oil Level on an NSR ?
I have an RVF400 NC35 and that has a dipstick attached to the filler plug but it appears that NSR`s don`t.
Any help much appreciated...........Cheers.
