Mc21 revcounter

Having replaced my reg-rec cos it damaged my ECU and my coils bike now runs fine but revcounter not working does revcounter get it's signal from pickup coils? As reg-rec could have damaged these checked fuses cleaned connecter blocks any body any idea thanks I

The tacho takes its feed from the PGM-III.

You can find an MC21 wiring diagram in the Workshop, on the main site.
