newer mc28 specific Tyga side by side expansion chambers

Sun Aug 23, 2015 6:43 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello all..
has anyone on here had experience of trying the latest Tyga pipes on their MC28?

I am told that Tyga has managed to develop a better fitting pair that now fit better within the original fairing.

anyone know if the development has meant that some power delivery is lost as a result? or would swapping from Mark 1 type to mark 2 requires rejetting dyno set up or of its a straight swap.
more importantly I'm wanting to know if these new pipes now fit inside the original fairing to save modifying bodywork to fit etc..
any feedback on this would be useful
cheers

We've just fitted new TYGAs to an MC28SP, but not hung the bodywork.

We'll be finishing it off tomorrow, and dynoing it on Tuesday. Should be able to answer your questions then. Wink

Thanks Andy....

Let me know what spec the bike has been set up to so I can compare it to mine etc. .

if they fit better I'm contemplating getting some so as not to have to cut the new bodywork..

Cheers
